Glass facades are one of the most basic requirements of modern architecture, and one of the most important means of communication inside and outside the building and a source of ventilation and natural lighting .structural glass facade systems are one of the curtain wall systems, and are a practical and cost-effective alternative to architectural glass designs.
Structural glass facade systems consist of glass that is glued and bonded from behind the unit structure without the need to use aluminum panels with a couch or aluminum cover continuously. The glass used can be single or made up of homogeneous units of even or triple multilayer insulating glass (IGUs).
Glass facade systems achieve more transparency in visibility than conventional systems. There is less interruption of vision due to the absence of metal plates from the outside (and potentially from the inside), creating a visible and continuous shape of the glass.
Features:
- An insulator of climatic changes.
- The surface is easy to clean.
- It allows to save energy.
- Excellent level of non-leakage of water.
- Complete protection of the infrastructure structure.
- The variety of applications for the same systems used, which allows for a variety of designs.
